About Coaching
“We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.”
Joseph Campbell
What is coaching?
Coaching is forward focused growth while recognizing the impact of trauma. You can work on: support for emotional processing, learning coping skills, building confidence and self-trust, setting goals for recovery and further growth, and putting in place safe accountability. Coaching does not include diagnosing mental health conditions. It is not therapy, consulting, or advice giving. It is a tool that helps you navigate and build a life after trauma.
What happens during coaching?
You decide what to focus on for each session. Through questions and exercises, I help you discover greater awareness, vision, and new mindsets. Growth then occurs in the time between sessions as you dig into specific learning or action plans designed to help you explore new perspectives, find empowerment, gain clarity, set goals, utilize accountability, and overcome obstacles as you begin walking toward wholeness after trauma.
